Wolfe's Louisiana Pantry Comes to The Wharf
Praised Chef Thomas Wolfe Brings Contemporary Louisiana Cuisine to Orange Beach
Celebrated Chef Tom Wolfe is ready to share his passion for food with The Wharf by opening an upscale neighborhood restaurant called The Louisiana Pantry.
The 6,600 square foot restaurant offers a diverse menu, which includes decadent salads, oven roasted North American rack of lamb, New Olreans style po-boys and much more. Guests will discover a selection of unique deserts like Ellie's white chocolate butter bars, chocolate crepes and a daily assortment of ice creams and sorbets.
The restaurant will also offer Chef Wolfe’s retail line, which will include New Orleans style chow chow, an assortment of seasonings and one of his most popular items, bread and butter pickles.
The Louisiana Pantry will have a locals member only dinner club, which will be a reservation-like dining system where locals can call in and reserve tables in a specific locals-only area of the restaurant.
Louisiana native, Chef Wolfe always knew he was destined to be a chef. Since childhood, cooking has always been his passion, so it was only natural for him to pursue a career in the culinary arts. Wolfe has worked in some of New Orleans’s finest restaurants and has had four of his own including: Wolfe's of New Orleans, Wolfe's in the Warehouse, Peristyle, Wolfe's Gulf Coast Grill, and now his fifth, The Louisiana Pantry.
Wolfe has cooked for President Bill Clinton and has hosted dinners for the French Culinary Institute in New York, Melbourne, Australia’s Children’s Hospital and many more. He has appeared on Good Morning America and has been deemed “one of five chefs to watch” by food enthusiast John Mariani.
The Louisiana Pantry will have a soft open on Monday, May 13th at The Wharf.
